Does anyone who manages their spouses Roth IRA tilt differently in each to hedge bets on the future? My wife and I are 39, and both roths are currently invested in 70% FSKAX / 30% FTIHX. I’m considering a SCV tilt and wondering if anyone else tilts one and leaves the other alone. Our 401k’s are both in total US/International with our total bond funds. Roths will stay 100% equities as we shift allocation in the future. I view the roths as a very long term play.
Part of me thinks “either believe in SCV or don’t” and tilt or don’t tilt both, and the other part of me would enjoy watching the “race” over the years. Both IRAs have the same balance currently.
