My BMW is slowly having issues again and its really a time to get either one of those


Toyota

Pros
- Gold standard of reliability
- Better brand recognition than hyundai by a slight margin

Cons
- Horrible exterior and interior design that is at least a decade behind
- Shorter warranty compared to Hyundai



Hyundai

Pros
- Better warranty than Toyota
New Hyundai models have a 100,000-mile / 10-year powertrain warranty. The Toyota powertrain warranty is just 5 years / 60,000 miles.
New Hyundai models have a 60,000-mile / 5-year New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The Toyota basic warranty is just 3 years / 36,000 miles.
- Better design than Toyota by a mile

Cons
- Maybe less reliable



What should I go for?

Im looking at SUV models. I drive approx 20k miles per year
