Our renewal homeowners premium was increasing from $2,500 to $3,600, annual. Farmer’s insurance has our 2 cars so I asked them to quote on the home, and they had a higher deductible, equal to 5% of the value, and the premium dropped down to only $1,000 a year total. They also gave us a $500 additional premium credit on the auto policies.
