Hi everyone,
I'm a first-time poster here and would appreciate some advice on managing short-term capital gains.
I currently hold an H1B visa in the U.S. and actively trade stocks, typically buying and holding them for short periods before selling. Last year, I earned $400K in short-term capital gains and expect similar results this year and next.
I paid the full tax on my gains last year, but I'm wondering if there are any strategies to reduce the tax burden on short-term capital gains. If I can't implement any changes this year, what can I do in the future to save on taxes?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
