I'm moving my account from ETrade to Vanguard and it looks like they want to charge me an account closure fee (based on the vague email I received).
How does this account closure fee get paid? Is it deducted from the cash balance so, for example, if I have $100, and the closure fee is $25, then $75 gets transferred to Vanguard instead of $100? Or do i pay them via credit card?
This is from a Roth IRA to Roth IRA, and I just want to make sure I do it right to avoid Etrade screwing things up again (they seem to have the uncanny ability to screw every single thing up, which is why im moving)
