I've been using independent agents that plug into Atlas Insurance brokers system for auto/home because my parents have been using them.
Atlas will not allow me to transfer agents unless the new one buys out my business. I'm tired of being captive to Atlas Insurance Brokers and their network of agents. Feels dumb that I can't switch somewhere else on my own free will.
My current agent has become too unresponsive as of late.
Anyone have suggestions for independent, individual auto/home insurance agents in Minnesota that are NOT tied into Atlas Insurance Brokers?
