I have read on Samsung Community forums online that on several models of their mobile phones, the screen dims after about 30 seconds and then darkens shortly thereafter while making a phone call. After the screen dims, one has to tap the screen for it to brighten again and if the screen darkens, you have to press the side button to illuminate the screen again. I think this feature would be annoying or frustrating if one wants to make a lengthy phone call on speakerphone. From your experiences, do you think most Samsung mobile phones have this fast screen dimming and darkening mode that cannot be changed? Do iPhones also have this idiosyncrasy?
