I saw the offer to upgrade to Chase Private Client and get $3k bonus. But I'm very confused on what accounts count towards the required assets.
The offer terms say:
What DOES NOT count: JP Morgan Self Directed account
What DOES count: J.P. Morgan Wealth Management account opened in a Chase branch and serviced by a J.P. Morgan Private Client Advisor
What's the difference?
I found a PDF online and it sounds like the self directed account is what most people know with free trades, etc. The Wealth Management account sounds like you make the investment decisions, there is no AUM fee, but there ARE commissions to buy and sell anything, including ETFs.
Can anyone who has done this bonus confirm if this is correct/up to date?
