Because I'm 71 and had a heart attack a few months ago. I've got Medicare part A and B. I can get an Advantage plan, a PPO, with big deductibles. I'm OK with that, I was looking at the G or F high deductible anyway. I'm a firm believer in high deductible insurance. I can afford big deductibles for small premiums. It's worked out well for me in my life with auto and home insurance.
Based on my perusal of this forum it seems that members prefer the original Medicare with a supplement. But if you can't get a supplement, would you stay with the original Medicare or go for the Advantage?
