I am hoping to collect either threads here or links elsewhere for advice on what investment actions one should take at the end of the year in preparation for the two year look back for FAFSA application.
I am aware that AGI is the primary factor (lowering it is best to get more aid). Assets would be in the first year so potentially different actions than the intent of this post but still helpful advice. Also, LTCG is considered income and is a factor for the 2 year look back.
Given this and other factors, what advice would you give to help a family prepare?
