I currently have a 42" Cub Cadet lawn tractor and am pondering replacing it with the electric 42" Ryobi Zero-Turn model. My primary concern is stability using a zero turn on the hilly portions of my lot.
Thanks to the power of the internet, I have seen recommendations to:
-- always mow into the incline which results in mowing the hill in reverse on the down stroke
-- mowing across the incline (slowly, with dry grass and tires in good condition)
-- and, use a lawn tractor instead of a zero turn if you have a greater than 15 degree incline
Anyone have real world experience using a zero turn riding lawn mower on terrain with an incline?
