Personal Finance (Not Investing) • First time homebuyer sales tax deduction

Hi all,

I'll have to itemize (for the first time) this year.

Does the annual 10K limit apply towards property tax AND sales tax (no state income tax here) ? Is there any category restriction on sales tax deduction (didn't make any large purchase, but I made tons of medium purchases) ?
