Hello!

Anyone here have experience with, or can recommend an online learning platform to learn “coding.” My interest is mostly just as a hobby. I’m fairly certain I can get my work to pay for a subscription to any of those sites as part of my Professional Development fund.

Years ago I took two one-semester college classes on JavaScript and PHP+sql, but I’m way out of touch, they were just surface level anyway.

I’ve enjoyed making simple locally hosted web apps for fun and for my classes (I’m a high school teacher) using primarily ChatGPT and Claude AI. I know enough HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to poke around a bit and make simple corrections/changes, but I’d like to know more! Those AI often default to frameworks I don’t understand all (like react or python) so I’d like to understand a bit of those languages at least.

Thoughts?
