Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Transfer on Death Deed

For those of you who have created a transfer on death deed for their homes, what did you do for your personal possessions inside? Just make a provision in the will? Also, just to verify, a transfer on death deed does not go to probate, correct? For any reason?? I have read the rules for Ohio’s transfer on death affidavit but still confused on how this works. Can my husband and I list each other on the TOD deed and then list a beneficiary for the house to go to after each one of us dies? Supposedly Ohio's probate moves quickly so would there be any reason to list the house in the will over doing the TOD deed? Is the only main objection of a TOD deed avoiding probate because the personal processions issue would send it to probate anyways, right? Hoping for some clarity on this.
