Personal Investments • Target fund litigation asking for 1099 legitimate or scam??

I received an email notice from Strategic Claims Service which stated that to participate in this litigation, they asked me to provide my SS # and 1099 of year 2021. I am not sure if this is legitimate litigation or someone trying to scam because with these information, if it is a scammer they could do major damage to me.
Has anyone received this notice? I do not know what to do.
