I did a Malwarebytes "digital footprint scan" on one of my email addresses, which supposedly looks for leaked personal information on the dark web.
It revealed six data breaches, including my email address and home address.
To those who are aware and knowledgeable about this sort of thing:
Should I be worried?
Or is this something that almost everybody experiences, and it is a fear tactic that Malwarebytes uses to try to sell protection services?
And if I should be worried, is there anything I can and should do about it?
I changed my email password.
