As I hit retirement, I'm wanting to consolidate several accounts into Vanguard. I've got a long term California tax free fund at another brokerage
As I already have the Calif Intermediate fund at VG, I can either drop the money in there or place into their LT version.
My goal is income, not as much total return. As rates decrease will a LT bond fund hold its distribution yield at a slightly higher rate than the intermediate one?
I guess it's just pennies between them but still checking out the issue.
