Hi Everyone,
I am trying to figure out the best investment vehicles for my retirement portfolio.
Currently single, 39 years old, and am not sure how long I would like to stay in the gov.
Would eventually like to start a small business venture in IT or more real estate.
Home: House hacking, $495,000 left on mortgage
TSP: $244,000
Roth IRA: $48,000
Emergency fund: $5,000
Would it make more sense to put money into the TSP, Roth TSP, or Roth IRA? Beef up the emergency fund?
I do not think I can max all options out since everything is so expensive these days.
Very tricky to know what the future holds and what path I will take forward work/entrepreneurship wise.
This is making the decisions on investments a little tougher.
Thanks!
