As part of my GSE Agency Bonds ladder investigations, it seems that neither Fidelity nor Schwab offer New Issues of the following specific Bonds: Federal Home Loan Baser. They offer plenty of Federal Home Loan Banks Bonds, but not "Baser" Bonds. Baser Bonds are available to purchase on the Secondary Market - but that's not what I am looking for.
I have reached out to Fidelity Fixed Income desk and they basically had no idea what the heck I was talking about.
So do any experts in GSE Agency bonds know why that is the case? Are Baser Bonds offered only to Investment Banks, Pension Funds, etc. - and not general public? For example, I found one Baser Bond listed on Fidelity's Secondary Market on FHLBanks web site and it was listed as "Syndicated" vs non-syndicated.
Example of a Federal Home Loan Baser: CUSIP 3130B1MB0
Thanks in advance for any info.
