My mother passed in March. Home was in a trust and left to my 2 daughters, nephew and myself. One daughter plans to buy out others and purchase for herself. I will be obtaining an appraisal this week. If daughter purchases it fairly soon, will any of us have to pay capital gain?
Also, if others agree to sell it to her for less than appraisal, is there any tax implication?
