Has anyone else here ordered food/pantry items of Amazon and run into issues with the item after the return period (and if so, how did you deal with it)? In my case, I ordered some Ritz cracker sandwiches (individually packaged in the box) and it's just outside the 30 day window but just realized today after opening a pack and finding one stale, that this pack and several other packs within the larger box apparently have broken/punctured seals which explains why they're stale. Expiration date isn't until July 15th 2024 either.
Amazon was unwilling to do anything since it's outside the return period, which is pretty bad considering this is a food item. They said to contact the manufacturer so I plan to do that. Has anyone had a similar issue and figured it out with Amazon though? I'm wondering if I would be able to dispute/chargeback with the credit card company for something like this?
