How do I improve my credit scores?
I do understand that this is a “first world problem”. But, I am annoyed that my credit scores are not higher.
Current Scores
831 - Transunion Vantage Score 3.0
832 - Equifax Vantage Score 3.0
817 - Credit union FICO[?] using Equifax
850 - American Express FICO8 using Experian
890 - Citibank Bankcard Score FICO8 using Equifax
832 - Chase Experian Vantage Score 3.0
Current Situation:
Mortgage - $zero. Have owned house free & clear for 13 years.
Auto loan - $zero. Took out a $50K loan in November 2022 and paid it off 18 months later in April 2024.
HELOC - $500
Utilization is under 4% overall and under 5% for any card.
Hard pulls - 2 in the Fall of 2022 related to car loan.
Credit cards: 2 Mastercard, 1 Target, 1 Amex, 5 Visa. Newest card is at 3.1 years. Oldest is 45 years.
