Thanks for those that gave me advice on how to get my son (14) his first summer job. Now that he is pulling in the princely sum of $45/day, he wants to invest in the stock market. I guess one of the kids at work told him about how he's been making a "killing" by buying fractional shares of NVDA through Robinhood ![:oops:]( "D'oh")
So DS asked if he can open a Robinhood account and put his weekly paycheck and other savings in there. He has around $1k in savings from years of birthday/holiday gifts and odd jobs. While I wasn't able to convince him to go with the 3 fund BH approach![:D]( "Very Happy")
, I did convince him to start small ($100-$200), and once he shows me discipline and approach, we can consider moving more.
Are there some easy to follow guides/tools that you can recommend for teens to use while researching stocks? Any other strategies I should
