I purchased airfare on Alaska Airlines a few months ago for a trip. I just checked today and the same flight is $300 less than what I paid a few months back.
Is there an option for me to get a credit for the difference, and if so, how do I accomplish this? If it matters, I purchased the "Main" fare, not the "Saver" fare.
If possible, I'd like to avoid having to buy a new ticket and cancel the old, since that will just refund the original cost back in my virtual wallet which I will then have to use in the near future or forfeit it.
