I'm struggling now with getting rid of stuff/clutter. It's not that I don't want to get rid of stuff; it's that the effort involved so overwhelms me that I end up putting it off, day after day. I could sell a lot of it, I know, and pocket some cash, but the venues I used to use (eBay) seem so full of scammers that the exercise of selling seems to be more stress than it's worth. And selling old iPhones? I can imagine that attracting scammers almost instantly. The surest way would be to gather up a bunch of trash bags and just throw it all away. But that seems terribly wasteful.
What's your practice around getting rid of stuff? What has worked and not worked?
I long for the liberation that I know will come from having nothing that I don't use or need. But I can't seem to get there.
