Wells Fargo launched a couple of new Expedia OneKey rewards cards that might be interesting if you travel a lot. Expedia is the most popular travel booking site. I looked into the card as I think it might work for me, along with good sign up bonus.
One Key+ Card
$600 sign up bonus
3% back on Expedia, Hotels.com and VRBO + standard 2-4% earning on Expedia.
3% for Groceries
3% for Dining
3% for Gas
2% for everything else
$99 Fee, but $100 in rewards when you pay fee. So as long as you travel 1x per year, fee is covered.
$100 TSA Precheck credit
Benefits:
No Foreign TF
Cell phone insurance up to $1000
Trip Cancellation insurance
Auto Rental insurance
Travel Accident insurance
Cons:
No cashback for travel bookings outside Expedia owned sites.
Points expire if you have not booked anything on Expedia in 18 months. This is the biggest drawback to the program
Must have full amount in rewards to book flights. (Can book hotels, events, packages with partial points + cash)
They also have a no fee card with basically all the same benefits but no $100 credit and 1.5% on non category spend and $400 sign up offer.
Expedia points are more flexible than airline miles, so it's a moderately interesting offer.
