I have an attic with some commercial style ducting for several large air handlers. Two units have electric motors which operate dampers to bring in outside air on demand. The motors were originally bolted to the sheet metal ducting but have torqued themselves loose as the dampers aged and stuck. The ductwork is suspended from a fairly high pitched ceiling by threaded rods maybe 10 feet long. I would like to mount the electric motors more securely on a set of aluminum or steel platforms suspended by additional threaded rods. They have to be positioned precisely to operate the dampers.
I am having trouble finding the right tradespeople do this work. Googling locally for commercial HVAC companies turns up mostly the one company I am already using who I don't see doing this work. Any suggestions on how to find the right tradesperson who installs a lot of threaded rod suspended kit?
Thanks
