Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Progressive auto insurance (for 2 cars) need ideas to cut some costs

I used a Broker sometime last year and switched over our insurances.

As of now, I have got two cars insured under Progressive: Subaru Ascent (lease) and Chevy Bolt (financing it).

Does any of the benefits stand out as candidates for trimming down or getting rid of completely to save some money?

I pay $1780 every 6 months and I live in Michigan. The whole family is under my insurance through work.

Thank you in advance.

  • My first thought is to cut down on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Medical Expense for both vehicles since we already have medical insurance.
  • As another user pointed out, I plan on removing the road side assistance for both.
  • I could also be removing rental assistance completely. I will get buy. It's not like we have only one car.
  • Currently, deductibles are $1000 so maybe I can increase a little bit
