Personal Consumer Issues • 100 Year Old Home Purchase

I'm early 30's and living in Oregon for work. I dont expect to be living here very long term. I expect 5-10 years. I do prefer to own my own home, and I'm considering buying a house built exactly 100 years ago. Is this unwise? It is recently remodeled and has solid bones (for now). The economy is on the rise in this smaller town, and I would hope to keep the house as an investment after leaving.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
