Some highlights.
- Vanguard like Fidelity is a privare company but is owned by the fund holders where Fidelity is owned by the family and emloyees.
- Vanguard is the least transparent of the 3. It doesn't publish as much info. "Shareholders" don't actually get to vote and approve policies.
- Despite having more asset than both Fidelity and Schwab, Vanguard has a lower profit margin. Their lower margin may be hindering their ability to upgrade and improve customer service.
- One worrying trend is customer inflow has slowed. This might have prompted the change. in CEO.
