I've waited ~15 years for TIPS to exceed 1%+ real return, and I've loaded up as much TIPS as I could in my 401k. Also maxed out i-Bonds too (since this will come up). If I want to grab more TIPS in the upcoming weeks, I only have taxable space left.
Is there a case for TIPS in taxable? Or should I just forget about buying more TIPS because of tax efficiency reasons?
