I'm reasonably aligned with Boglehead values: I read books, listen to the podcasts, follow key blogs, and move with caution. Low cost and diversified.
Yet, while I find building a portfolio for specific life models to be highly analytic, personally, it's tougher for me to rebalance a portfolio.
So, my question isn't about the how, the when, or the what that needs to be done. It's the push-the-button hesitation. I think maybe it's the difference between picking a stock and selling one (I no longer pick stocks, I'm all in for simple portfolios designed around ETFs/Index. This is just a metaphor.)
How do you handle the push-the-button moment on rebalancing ?
