My girlfriend's father asked me if I could research solar powered generators. I know zero about any part of this topic. I said I could ask on the forum here. Here is what he sent me. Id appreciate any info or comments on this topic and whether is price is realistic or not? Thank you.

How would you like to do some research for a solar powered "generator" for us ?
Not sure if we'd really get one but we'd like to at least check them out.
We'd want it to have a 220v outlet (like an oven would need -- just because that's what our transfer switch needs).
Under $2g including the solar panels.
What do you think??
