I am not impressed with the picture quality of store/off brands of LED televisions. The colors look washed out and not crisp. One brand that in my opinion has excellent picture quality at the 55"+ levels is Samsung, however after a cursory internet search, I was not able to find the model number of a Samsung 24" TV with 1080p resolution, only one with 720p resolution. The configuration of the room I would like to place this TV in limits me to no more than a 27" tv, but ideally 24" would be better and that screen size seems to be more popular. I am not interested in a TV with a built-in media streaming system, but rather a very basic feature television with an excellent 1080p picture and sound.
