For well over a year now, the IRS has been sending letters to the previous tenant. I always write “return to sender — no longer at this address” and put it back in the mailbox. However, the letters keep coming.
Now, it has escalated to very large envelopes, and some of them are certified/need a signature.
I’m never home when the mail is delivered, so I haven’t been able to speak with the mail person. Any guidance here, or should I just wait until IRS agents show up at my door?
