Hi, I am 25 years old and I just started contributing to my Roth IRA this year. I've been doing research this past 2 weeks and I wanted some feedback on how I should go about investing my savings. I use Fidelity, because I think it is more affordable for me.
Despite of my low salary, I am able to still invest in my Roth IRA. I am about $800 away from maxing out my contribution limit for this year
For my Roth IRA, I only want to invest in Fidelity index funds.
With a total of $292 to invest each paycheck, here’s how I currenlty distribute it across my funds
Allocation Breakdown:
1.FXAIX (S&P 500 Index Fund): 25%
oAmount: $73
2.FSMDX (Small-Mid Cap Index Fund): 20%
oAmount: $58
3.FNCMX (Nasdaq Composite Index Fund): 20%
oAmount: $58
4.FSELX (All-in-One Index Fund): 20%
oAmount: $58
5.FITLX (International Index Fund): 15%
oAmount: $44
I recently open a brokerage as well with Fidelity. I want to only invest in Sector ETFs and they are:
FTEC-$25
FHLC-$25
FNCL-$25
I dont make alot but investing $75 is better than nothing. Thank you for reading my post and I look foward to the replies![smile :happy]()
