Perhaps this has been posted before, I cannot find what I'm looking for.
On the bottom of the first page of my Vanguard TIRA account statement
Year-to-date income
Taxable income--------$ 0.00
Nontaxable income----$ x,xxx.xx
I take dividends in cash and they withhold 10%. The dividends cashed out and the the sale of a TIRA are taxable, correct??
Trying to do some tax planning.......it's so difficult to get through to Vanguard on the phone...
