I know this sounds like bad timing, but I’ve decided to reduce the weighting of international stock ETFs in my Roth from 25% to about 14% and switch to the low cost vanguard etf, VEA. I no longer see international stocks as being worth the risks, so I have decided to reduce the weighting to a vanguard ETF instead of 2 factor based ETFs on quality and fundamentals.
I am also replacing a sector ETF with a less volatile ETF. I know that I cannot predict the future, but I am getting closer to early retirement and cannot tolerate unnecessary volatility.
My actions appear to be emotionally driven, which is always a mistake. I need some advice here.
