I decided to look for an HSA-eligible plan on the ACA this year after passing the eligibility criteria. Unfortunately, there is none listed when I apply the HSA filter and I wonder why.
My questions:
(1) Does the healthcare.gov marketplace NOT require that providers offer HSA-eligible plans in every state?
(2) If you are relatively healthy and have self-insured in the past, was it cost-effective as compared to an ACA-fronted plan and would you do it again?
Thanks for any insights.
