I've heard that some mutual funds or ETFs allow you to specify how you want your underlying shares to vote (not specifically, but you get a few general choices/strategies). For example:
Vanguard: https://corporate.vanguard.com/content/ ... hoice.html
iShares: https://www.ishares.com/us/literature/p ... bruary.pdf
But what I've seen tends to be kind of vague or outdated. Can anyone tell me how much a person needs to invest in what fund at what brokerage in order to do this right now, in November 2024? Are there any VTI/VTSAX equivalents that do this? (US total stock market) Or is IVV the closest? (S&P 500) Are there any VSUX/VTIAX or VT/VTWAX equivalents that do this? (ex-US total stock market, world total stock market)
Or is this stuff all still too much in the early stages, and if I want to invest in a fund that lets me do this, I should just wait a while longer?
If anyone knows any details, or has had any experience in participating in this stuff and could share your experience, I'd be interested to know more.
