I have a son-in-law in his 20s that is dead set on hitting a home run with cryptocurrency and has invested their hard earned money into BITX (2x Bitcoin Strategy ETF) when they have more important issues that should be taken care of first, such as high interest debt and an emergency fund. I have given him three books, (I Will Teach You to be Rich by Ramit Sethi, Simple Path to Wealth by J.L. Collins, and Millionaire Mission by Brian Preston) all of which he has read because I offered to pay him $100/book. But his mentality hasn't really changed all that much. What book would you all recommend that will really help him to see that there is a financial order of operations, that long term investing should be boring, and that he will be better off investing the majority of his money in low cost, globally diversified total market stock and bond index funds only after the basics are taken care of first. Thanks!
