I'm trying to make sense of this: https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/g ... te-pro.php
Besides the rates (margin loans, interests) that I don't plan to use. It would seem better Lite since there are no commissions when trading, right?
If I trade, fixed seems a bit more expensive (https://www.interactivebrokers.ie/en/pr ... s-home.php), but fixed seems to have some extra fixed, so the math may be a bit more complicated. Not a huge difference for an individual investor (If I buy $300k of VTI at $300 share, it would be just $5 fee - 0.005$*1000 -).
What about buy the ETFs on another broker like Vanguard and just transfer them into IBRK. Would that work to save those $5. Any problems with it?
