Has anyone used and set up QuickBooks to pay themselves as an employee of their own LLC treated as an S corporation? I have a few questions regarding properly setting federal and state payroll taxes.
For example, what federal form would be most appropriate for a side gig earning around $20k/year? 941? And do we typically file it quarterly?
How can I get the account number for unemployment insurance and its rate on the state side (in TX)?
PS: I think I got taken for a ride by my CPA (as usual, I think now) to set up the S-Corp, and it's only now that I realize all these additional steps/fees and time investment. But anyways, it is what it is, and I would really appreciate some guidance from this community (that I just learned of a few days ago), to try to do a few of these things for an S-Corp on my own. My CPA is now asking $300 to just help setup QuickBooks.
