Personal Consumer Issues • At What Age Did You Become Less Physically Capable?

Currently retired at age 53 and we are trying to start a farm. We bought some acreage that needs to be cleared, so I'm often doing forestry work; chainsawing and felling trees, cutting up trees, moving branches to the chipper, lifting wood to put in the chipper, moving wood chips, getting in and out of heavy equipment, unloading stumps at the dump, etc... I'm doing this work, sometimes daily, for weeks on end, and I expect it to last many more years. I like being outside and the forced exercise, but man is it brutal work. I'm wondering how long I'll have to turn this place into a farm while I'm still physically able to do so. I do feel my age and have my issues just like everyone else, but I know there's going to come a day when I have to greatly reduce the physical labor, and I wonder when most people here reached an age where they got to the point where they had to drastically alter their activities due to physical limitations.
