I think this shows that though Warren Buffet is widely considered to be the most successful investor of the 20th century, his performance in the 21st century is only modestly above average. He has performed 1.69% better than US equities overall which is comparable to the fees of some "full-service" financial advisory services. There may be literally tens or hundreds of thousands of investors who have performed better than Buffet. He simply started with more money than them in the year 2000.
