Personal Investments • Invest in individual stocks in Roth IRA?

I know this question has probably been asked before. I am 55 years old and have a Roth IRA with relatively small amount (small compared to what most people my age probably have) in a total stock market index fund (SWTSX). Also a tiny amount in Schwab bond fund. I would like to invest probably 5% or less additional money in individual stocks like pltr, NVDA and maybe a couple others. I know this is risky which is why I heard not to invest more than you are willing to lose (or 5-10% of portfolio).

I will still contribute to the Total Stock Market Fund regardless and I My question is: Does my retirement Roth IRA have the potential to have a lot more money in it at retirement (in 10-15 years) with individual stocks added to it? Obviously I know they go up and down and don't invest more than I'm willing to lose. I just want to know if potential to have that much more money with them in there is the question.
