Ok I have what I think is an unusual work wardrobe issue. I work remotely and can mostly wear pajamas every day if I need to. HOWEVER, I also travel maybe 5-6 times per year, often to conferences or meetings where I need to wear a suit or at least a jacket/tie for 3-6 days in a row. My preference is to travel with enough suits/jackets to switch up at least every other day, so let's say I may need to bring three total suits/jackets with me on some trips. For some extra versatility, I will often bring two pairs of shoes (brown and black) that can be interchanged with different suits with different looks, but I guess that's optional.
Any road warriors out there who regularly travel with multiple suits? What's the best move? I gather that garment bags are sort of "out" these days, but I've always used them and feel comfortable with them. Is there a good carry-on that would work for this? My concern is that once I have all of the above wardrobe (plus shirts) packed, I won't also have space for the other stuff I need. I also would not say that I'm great at ironing, especially not in hotel rooms. Are you all just folding up your suits? Any bags that are particularly good for this?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
