In the Nissan Versa's manual, the manual said the following about the sport mode "Use the drive sport mode when you need improved engine braking." I thought sport mode just keeps the RPM high to be more responsive to acceleration. Good for passing on trunks on highway and jump wide chasms . How does engine braking tied into this feature, I thought engine braking was a manual transmission thing, but this car has a CVT. Does sport mode help with hills as well?
