Personal Investments • please help me choose bond funds in my 403b

Hello all -

My Fidelity 403b plan does not have a Vanguard total bond fund so I'm trying to create a replacement without using the Fidelity brokerage link. Hoping to keep things simple, Here are the bond fund options available within my 403b plan with the net expense ratio and gross expense ratio of each:

Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund Investor Shares (VMFXX) 0.11%0.11%
Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond Index Fund Institutional Shares (VBIMX)0.05%0.05%
Vanguard Long-Term Investment-Grade Fund Admiral Shares (VWETX) 0.11%0.11%
American Funds Inflation Linked Bond Fund Class R-6 (RILFX) 0.29%0.29%
BlackRock High Yield Portfolio Fund Class K (BRHYX) 0.48%0.49%
PIMCO CommoditiesPLUS® Strategy Fund Institutional Class (PCLIX) 0.83%1%
Standard Insurance Company Stable Asset Fund II 0% 0%
TCW MetWest Total Return Bond Fund Plan Class (MWTSX) 0.37%0.37%
Thornburg Limited Term Income Fund Class R6 (THRLX) 0.42%0.46%

I guess VBIMX and VWETX are obvious choices, but how what about short term bond exposure? Use VMFXX as a proxy for that? Or does it not matter?

Thinking about having 30% allocation to bond funds, 10% each of VBIMX, VWETX, and VMFXX. But I really don't know what I'm doing...

FWIW, the total balance of the 403b account is about 1.1 million. The rest of my 403b is essentially allocated VANGUARD INST INDEX (VINIX) 50%, VANG TOT INTL STK AD (VTIAX) 10%, VANG SM CAP IDX INST (VSCIX) 5%, VANG MIDCAP IDX INST (VMCIX) 5%.

Also hoping I can set this Fidelity 403b account up to auto rebalance but I have not learned if that is possible or how to do it or how often...

Greatly appreciate any suggestions/help!!!
