Happy New Year!
I tried to follow the protocol, best as I could: Married, filing jointly, retired (husband 69, me 67) Fed tax rate 12%, State 1%. Emergency funds adequate, 300,000. mortgage at 2.5%. Live in VA. I just converted $40,000 Tira to my Roth IRA. We’d like to stay at the 12% tax rate. I have no control (now) over the managed accounts at Fidelity, although my understanding is the advisor takes the non-managed accounts into consideration when planning the managed accounts. Total invested $2+M.

I cannot possibly list all the individual holdings, but this is the analysis per the Fidelity site for these accounts:
“The "style" of your stock holdings in these accounts looks like it's pretty similar to that of a benchmark that follows the U.S. stock market.”
“The "style" of your bond holdings in your selected accounts looks like it's pretty similar to that of a benchmark that follows the U.S. investment grade bond market”
central positions 60+ funds $515, 600.00
equity growth SMA hundred of stocks $61,500.
equity value SMA hundred of stocks $48, 000
63% domestic stock, 18% foreign stock, 13% bonds
Rollover IRA:
14 funds , 7 are Strategic Advisor funds $906,000
40% domestic stock, 26% foreign stock, 33% bonds
Question:
1. Simplify the self-managed accounts.
2. Comment on the Management portion of our retirement plan so I can better understand how to talk to my husband about simplifying our plan and possibly getting out from under Fidelity Wealth Management.
3. 60/40?? 50/50?
Your comments/help much appreciated.
